I have always thought that if a person arrived at the logical conclusion of the Bible being Calvinism, he should reject the whole thing on the basis of reductio ad absurdum .

Each side has about 20 verses that favor one and opposes the other. Unfortunately neither can appeal to reality to settle the dispute.
